These 49 days are a chance to try things, experiment, get weird and research your own specific flavor of pleasure inside of a supported container. It doesn’t mean pleasure will happen all the time or every time you attend to your practice. Lots of feelings, memories, patterns might come up. This is a good sign - it means you are doing something different. As long as you feel safe enough, I encourage you to keep going, keep noticing, and keep feeling. Something is likely to shift.
This course is built on utilizing Mindful Erotic Practice (MEP) as a daily tool within a community of care. We will be alone, together. You will witness your own experience in your daily practice; lovingly noticing if you practice, what you practice, and how it effects you, among lots more I'm sure. You will also get to be seen and held by the group in weekly support calls. This will be an opportunity to disrupt the isolation that can come with a solo pleasure practice.
It works as you work it. Meaning, the attention, time, and participation you give will come back to you. And, even if you practice 10 minutes every few days and miss the weekly calls, you will still get something out of it.
This space is also meant to be one of curiosity. I invite you to explore with the lens of “what happens if…”, knowing you may not find the answer, but perhaps an answer. Can you observe yourself as a compassionate witness to your experience? Can you come into practice with loving awareness, and notice, with acceptance, when you might dip into self-criticism, shame, guilt, etc. Those thoughts and emotions are not wrong, and in fact, may be pointing to something that wants your attention. I encourage you to stay curious and open minded, if not welcoming of the not-so-pleasurable parts. They are part of your aliveness, your erotic life!
Daily Prompts
The prompts each day are meant as suggestions or invitations, and are by no means a requirement or even a goal. They may be a way to start your practice if you feel stuck or they may be the entire practice in of itself. You might read/listen through a prompt and decide to do something entirely different - that is great! You might combine some or find one you do over and over again. You can do them out of order, backwards, or upside down. They are yours to adapt and modify as you wish.
I'll be adding more prompts as we move along so you'll have a minimum of 49 to work with.
You are also encouraged to comment on the daily prompt - sharing anything you found hot or hard about the practice. This can be a way of giving and receiving inspiration from other members of the hive.
Live Weekly Support Calls
In our optional weekly support calls I'll share at least one somatic practice and one intention setting tool to help get you more in touch with your felt sense of pleasure. There will be space to share about how things are going in your daily practice and also an opportunity to hear from others. If you have questions or need specific support, you can ask for it in this space. I'll offer live coaching as much as time will permit. I may decide to record these and share them with the group - still feeling this one out.
Pleasure Buddies
If you opt in to this, you'll be paired with another person in the course for peer support. You can decide together how much contact you want to have over the 7 weeks. My suggestion is a once-a-week phone call where you split the overall agreed upon time (maybe 10 minutes each?) and share whatever is on your heart. Take turns listening to each other without judgement, without commenting on each other's share, and then leave a few minutes at the end to reflect together. This is not a time to give unsolicited advice, or coach your buddy in any way. If they ask, you can offer support in ways that feel good to you. However, I encourage you to trust that simply listening to each other is enough! You can also utilize this support by engaging in encouraging texts or voice notes! Hearing from someone else is likely to spark inspiration and keep you motivated.
Bonus Live Communal Erotic Practice Sessions
Soon I will announce dates and times for a virtual Communal Erotic Practice session. These will be optional live Zoom calls where we will start together, with option to have your camera on and share your intention, and then we will go off screen/mute, practice with a shared playlist, and come back to share at the end. Alone-together in real time!

Otherwise, I invite you to try to lean into those calls and I will do my best to support you or answer questions then.
